Giocondi in Collonella?

Subject: Giocondi in Collonella?

I am searching for anyone related to my father, Michele Giocondi. He was born in 1911 and immigrated to the U.S. in 1954. I think he was born near Collonella, but I'm not sure. His mother's name was Loretta Giocondi. Father unknown. Loretta died in the early 1960's at about 80 years of age--so that would make her date of birth around 1880. She was ostracized from her family for having a child out of wedlock. My father lived in an orphanage for a while before returning to his mother. He moved to Rome as an adult. I have found other Giocondi's in the U.S. but none of them are aware of any relative named Loretta. Most of them are from the town of Controguerra. That may have originally been my grandmother's home town.
