HI,
Anyone knowing anything about the battista family it would help me a great deal, I am doing a family tree on my mom side of my family, her name was Matilda battista damico,
my grandfather name was Antonio battista my grandmother name was Dorthorea Battista (DiAota,) they came from Campobasso, ended up in Brooklyn, New York.

MY grandfather died in New York in 1918 and my grandmother remarried so DiAota was her second husbands name I believe and she died in 1932.
