Subject: Social Histories

Are there any social histories published in English for particular towns in Abruzzo? I'm really interested in the culture, folklore, and traditions of my ancestral towns; are there resources available for me to research them? The three towns my family comes from are Lanciano, Tollo, and Crecchio.
