Hi i also have relatives that are from Perano coincidentally they all have surnames of Pellicciotta or Puligese. These are very common names in this town from which i found out my Great Granfater was Vincenzo Pelliciotta and great grandmom was Maria Puligese, They both had father's or mother's names Nicola, Maria or Vincenzo, they moved around South Philly in the early 20's and they also changed their last name to Pelliciotti because my great grandfather liked having all I's in the name so the story goes. Dont know if they are related to your family somehow but you never know.
