Yes Perano was and still is a small place to live in, It only has 1600 people and as you can see on maps its pretty isolated from other cities around it. My Grandfather was born here in Philly but after his tour was up in WW2 he visited Perano for a few months to see relatives, he has lost contact with them all but the white pages show a lot of people with the name Pellicciotta and Pugliese which was my great grandmother's name so I'm gonna print that out and show him so maybe he will recognize some of the addresses. His health is kinda bad so a trip with him over there is ruled out so for the time being I'm practicing Italian so I can go over there very soon.
