A distant cousin, who lives near Baltimore has turned up our great-uncle's birth certificate. On it is the name of our great-grand-father(Pietro Paolo), our great grand mother(Carolina), and the name of 2 witnesses. One of the witneses was called Vincenzo Pellicciotta(at he time the birth certificate was first issued:1890, Vinceno was 30 years old). There is no indication as to how Vincenzo was related to Pietro Paolo, He might be a brother, but that is only speculation. Vincenzo was a black smith by trade.
