thanks for your quick reply. However, I believe the family name was originally Fiore and not DiFiore, according to some papers I came across. Also, the family came to Canada, and not the U.S., somtimes around the early 1900's. Thanx. I hope this info can narrow it down, as I tried when I was in Italy, but was unsuccessful.
