Holy cow!!!! I cannot believe this post... we are somewhat related!!! My grandmother was born in Chieti and my mother also. Your grandmother (aunt Anna) was my mother's step sister!!! It's so confusing but I know exactly who your grandparents are. Rocco Colamarino was my mother's uncle who came from the town of Cupello in the province of Chieti in Abruzzo, as was my mother and grandmother. My grandmother, Emilia Cannavino married John Cannavino in Sayre. My grandmother was your grandmother's step mother. Your grandmother used to come to Yonkers to visit us all the time, in fact she was in my home right after I was married, she also came to my brother Carmen's wedding and brought her granddaughter Shelly... Is that your sister??? Oh my we have got to speak, your mother is Dolores, right?? Ask her if she knows us, especially my brother Carmalou, as they all called him.
