Firmani's from Ortona a Mare'

I am attempting to trace my family roots from Ortona to Cape Town South Africa. My paternal Great grandfather was Pietro firmani and had two brothers. they arrived in the late 1800's to early 1900's. Please can you point me in the right direction?
