Hi, just joined the forum and came across your post.
My grandmother Lucia DiGiralamo Iezzi had an aunt (DiSibio) who married a Jiosi. Now I know this name was spelled incorrectly upon the arrival of this family to the US. I believe if memory serves me correctly that their real name was Gioioso. My grandmothers mother/aunt came from Perano in Abruzzi.
She has a few cousins left and many second, third cousins from the Jiosi family living in NJ. Hope this is a help.
