My grandfather, Anthony Scutti, came from Altino around the same time... he was married to Maria Scutti (which also happened to be her maiden name!) and settled in New Jersey, eventually in Woodbridge, NJ. One of my uncles was named "Dominic," a common enough name, still there might be a connection through either of my grandparents. My Great Uncle Al Scutti, my grandmother's brother, lived in Greenwich Village for a time, then Brooklyn, eventually upstate NY.
