DeLaurentis family

the "DeLaurentis" name does not seem italian to me, but my great-grandfather, felice delaurentis is from roccascalegna, abruzzo. born in 1882, he married mabel, date unknown, and they had one daughter, Pat, born 1902, before he immigrated to the USA 1n 1906, to live with an uncle in Philadelphia. don't know mabel's maiden name, or parents names. would like to know origin of family name. thank you.
