Hello all,

I am looking for information about my ancestors from Colle di Macine and environs. My great grandfather was Giuseppe di Berardino and his wife, my great grandmother, was Raffaela delli Pizzi. They were both born, raised, and married in Colle di Macine so far as I know. She was born around 1890 but I'm not sure about my great grandfather. She died here in the US during the Spanish influenza epidemic of 1918. After her death,
Giuseppe and his two sons (Michael – my grandfather, generally known as "Nick" - and Louis) returned to Colle di Macine. My grandfather grew up there until he was 17 at which time he returned to the US. He is now 93 years old and although he is full of life, his memory is a bit sketchy. He never saw or spoke to his father again after leaving Italy in 1928. Presumably Giuseppe is now deceased. I wonder if anyone has any information about my great grandfather or his relatives in Italy. I believe his mother's maiden name was Bellinfante, if that is of any help.
