How about a theory of Sephardic Jews? We have a family tree that goes back a couple of centuries from San Fele -- begins with a Don Diego Dondiego. No person had less than 10 children....and in my travels I have found that we are related to all Dondiegos... it is just such an uncommon name. One Dondiego saw the family name in a Jewish cemetery in Italy....hence the Sephardic theory. Good luch...
