Anybody know the last name "Schiarizzi"?

It seems that there are no Schiarizzi's in Italy, and hardly any in the
U.S., but I'm trying to figure out what the last name means and if any
of the Schiarizzi's are hiding off somewhere. I'd love to meet them! My
grandfather, Domenico, was from Montelapiano, but after his family
came to Boston, it seems there were no Schiarizzi's left. Any info?
