Moschetti Pietro - seeking where he is born in Italy

We are looking for the birthplace and relatives of Pietro Moschetti in Italy. The only records we have is that Pietro immigrated to Australia and married a Mary Stapleton in 1878. We think he was born around 1837.
It would be great if someone could share some information on the Moschetti families as we would love to visit the region they came from in Italy.
