My father was Antonio Volante, his family was from Atina too. His father was Vincenzo Volante (boot maker)and his mother was Beatrice Volante (Laina). Maybe we are related?? I researched my family tree some years ago but drew a blank in Italy. They don't go much on family trees there because they think it pretencious. The only way I could get information was to go to Atina and search through church records. Not being able to read Italian, nor travel to Atina, I never got any further than the names on my father's birth certificate. Dated 17 April 1909.
