I recently discovered that our family was started by an Italian painter by the name of Ciociolino probably in the 17th or 18th century. A legend tells that he was the founder of Bansko, Bulgaria, this is highly unlikely, but our family name used to be Chuchuline, which is the only name of its kind in Bulgaria. Let me know if this has any connection with Cioccio, or if you can give me any other suggestions on where to look, I tried looking for such a name online and am getting nowhere. I currently live in USA. Thank you!!
