I am researching my husband's family and have the following Rossi's from Sant'Appolinare:
ANTONIETTA ROSSI, born 1910, married Vincenzo Abbruzzese and emigrated to Canada. Her parents were:
PIETRO ROSSI and LUCIA ROSSI (yes, both were Rossi's), married in 1903. Pietro's parents were:
SALVATORE ROSSI and ANGELA ROSSI, married in 1874.
Lucia's parents were:
PIETRO ROSSI and ANTONIA VITO.
Salvatore's parents were:
PASQUALE ROSSI and BENEDETTA MALLOZZI, married in 1842.
Angela Rossi'a parents were:
GIOVANNI ROSSI and TERESA ROSSI (again, 2 Rossi's), married about 1840.
