Hello Remo Deplacido,
Responding to your note yes St. Ninians primary school
is still in existance but as you said St. Anthonys secondary closed dow.
around 1970 or 1971. I didnt teach at that school but most of the staff
from St Anthonys transferred to the new catholic school called Holy Rood
High School. There I taaught a few boys with the Depalico surname, I remember
Gary Deplacido he joined the army but that was around 12 years ago.
As a pupil I went to Holycross secondary and was friendly
with a Deplacido boy who lived in Leith but that was 53 years ago !!!!!!!!
Anyway have a great holiday, Ive been to Cassino a few
times, a trip up to Monte Cassino and the war cemetries around the top
are worthwhile.

All the best Eddie Demarco
