A newbie searching for the Cugini family

Hi!
I have just begun my geneology adventure. I am searching for my father's family.
The information I have is this:
My great grandfather's name was Carmine Cugini. He was from either Caserta or San Donato Val di Comino. He had at least one sister... Lucia and one brother...Cesidio (I t hink that was his name). Carmine, Lucia and Cesidio all settled in NY (Brooklyn). I believe Carmine came to NY in the late 1800's.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!
