Go to www.paginebianche.it. It is the Italian phone bbok. Since surnames are often zone specific you may be able to narrow down your search for the twon of origin. Enter the surname where it says Cognome and the names of the 20 regions one by one. Try Campania first as it is where Campobasso is. You will then get a breakdown of the surname by town. Good luck.
