Hi, Mary,

Since I posted my email in 2004, I have found out quite a bit more about my Ferri line. My great-great-great-grandmother Serafina Ferri (born about 1791) was the daughter of Michelangelo Ferri and Maddalena Faccenda (not Faccenna as I had thought). Michelangelo was the son of Cosimo Ferri and Serafina Salvatore. Cosimo was the son of Francesco Ferri. All of these are from San Giuseppe (Picinisco). Serafina Ferri had a brother named Giuseppe Ferri, but of course this is a common name. My Ferri's are related to the somewhat famous Italian writer Giustino Ferri, also of Picinisco. There may be a connection between the Ferri's from Sora and Picinisco, but if so, I don't have any info on it. Still, Sora is ringing a bell. I've come across something about Sora somewhere. I'll have to check and see if I can find what it is. As for the other names, I have information on a Ascione line beginning with Francesco Ascione (born 1597). This is from the town apparently near Napoli called Resina which I cannot find currently existing. There is a Resina near Perugia, but this would not be the correct town. I don't know if this would have any connection to you, but I would be happy to send you what I have. Unfortunately, I don't know the name Guadagni.

Ciao,
Wendell
