Hi Vicky my Great grandad was Anthony Crolla(1857),Ice Cream Trader, married to Margaret(1865)&lived at 41 Cotton Street,Ancoats,Manchester see 1881&1891 census&in 1901 went on to live on George Street.Their children were Carmel born London(not Margarets daughter), Teresa,Bernard,Joseph(born Cotton St),Philinina(born George St).

My grandad was Bernard&he had 5 children with Eugenia Panetta(nee Coletta)&they lived in Gun Street during the 1940's&50's where they brought up their kids-Bernard[o](1923),Vincenzo(1925),Anthony[my dad](1927),Anunziata[Nancy](1929)&Michael Angelo(1930).Do you think it is Possible that Anthony Crolla(1857) could be one of the brothers of Vittorio&Eugenio as they lived in the nxt street(Cotton St) at the same time as Joseph Crolla(1841)&Giovanni Crolla(1862) lived in Gun St at numbers 59&64.I am struggling to find Anthony&Margerets nxt of kin.I have traced the family back to this Cotton Street Anthony(1857)&believe he used to live in London as that is where Carmel(1877-78) his daughter from another partner was born.

The only Crolla connection in London I have found in 1881 census was an Emmidio Crolla 29 Eyre St.Hill,St Ambrose,Holden. He was a lodger, single,Musician. There was another lodger called Dominico Coletta(1858),Ice Cream Seller, same address.

The other was an Antonio Crolla(1857) living at 11 Fleetrow,St Andrews,Holburn as a Lodger,single,Musician.
Also an Antonio Crolla(1857) living in London, head of house, this could be the same person but I'm not sure as it's from the same 1881 census.

Do you think it is possible that all these Anthony/Antonio's are the same person given that they all have the same yr of birth?

Any help would be very much appreciated, thankyou
