Grandfather Giovanni Pannunzio

My name is Alex DePetro and I live in Michigan.

My grandfather's name was Giovanni Pannunzio and he was born in 1889. His father's name was Constanzo and his mother's name was Maria Iosca.

I am trying to get dual citizenship with Italy but need his birth certificate.

The problem is no one in my family knows the city/town where he was born. They thought Campobasso but there is no record.

I would appreciate any help that I could get. I have been through the Ellis Island web site a number of times. thank you - alex depetro
