Go to www.paginebianche.it. It is the Italian phone book. Since surnames are often zone specific you may be able to narrow down your search for the town of origin. Enter the surname where it says Cognome and the names of the 20 regions one by one. Try Molise first as it is where Campobasso is. You will then get a breakdown of the surname by town. Good luck.
