I am a researcher living in the province of Frosinone. You MUST know the town of origin to do Italian research as all records are kept there (or in the LDS microfilms or in the Provincial archives before 1900) Even then you MUST know the town of birth. Where did you get your information? The Desantis I researched was De Santis and the space makes a difference. The LDS records for Esperia prior to 1865 are kept under the original town name which I would have to look up (It does start with Rocca....)
