The Lake Dialect in Nonantum

Hello Everyone: I have been an active "lurker" on this site for years and now have a request of you. I am doing a little bit of research for a book I am writing about the Nonantum section in Newton, Massachusetts. I know there is a huge connection to Frosinone in The Lake and that is why I am posting here. Specifically, I am asking if anyone remembers the dialect we used to speak that included words such a "mush" and "divya." If you still remember this "language" then please feel free to email me. Any insight you have would be much appreciated. Even if you simply have fond memories you would like to share about growing up in The Lake in the 60s, 70s or 80s, please feel free to write. Thank you so much for your time. Have fun!
