My mothers name was Macciocchi and she was born in Tynemouth area on 28 Oct. 1912. Her father was called Vincent ( we believe he came from around Lazio) and he was killed in 1914. Her mother remarried a man called Taylor who was from Cullercoats in North East England. My mother had 3 brothers then two half sisters after her mother remarried.
