Husband's grandfather, Francesco Sormanti, emigrated to the U.S. in 1904 with two sons. His wife, Angela (Cocuzzoli) Sormanti arrived with 4 other children in 1909. They settled in the Providence, R. I. area the rest of their lives. A copy of the birth certificate for my husband's father (Umberto Vittorio) states he was born in Ceprano. Do you think there could be a connection?
