Hi Daniel: I am doing the same with my family. One nice lady responded to my Cacciavillani(corrected spelling)/Cerimele question. Check it out. I did go to the nearest LDS Family History Center and ordered birth records for a particular town and acually found my grandmothers birth certificate. They are very helpful in the Family History Center, you do not have to be a member of their church to do research.
