I have some letters written by Angelo to my relatives and ancestors in Castelgrande. He lived in Bronx. About the "The Young Men's Society of Castelgrande", he was treasurer in the Testimonial Dinner Dance in honour of Dr. Nicholas Michael DeSanctis, 1934, see https://digilander.libero.it/rufdes/dinnerdance.htm

There you can find also some news about Castelgrande and my family. I don't know if and how my family was related to Angelo DeSanctis's, but in one letter he wrote: "Cari parenti" (Dear relatives).
When he came to Italy, he was hosted in our family house.
In the genealogic tree I can't find how he could be a relative, see my file on the website (http://digilander.libero.it/rufdes/Albero%20gen.xls).
Anyway the family origin and roots are the same.
Best regards, Claudio de Sanctis
