Ungano from Maschito

My grandparents Maria and Nicola Ungano came to America from Maschito. We always thought their dialect didn't sound Italian. I found religious cards to St. Elia which led me to this site and others that dealt with Maschito. They were Albanians that fled the Turks and came to Italy over 500 years ago!

We have found birth certificates that show our name as either Lungano or Tungano. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
