My great grandparents (on my father's mom's side) came from Marsico Nouvo. Your grandmother's maiden name is probably D'Agrosa, as was my great-grandmother's. She was born in 1859 and married Augustalo Marturano. They came to Chicago in the late 1880's. I'll have to look at the Marsico microfilm and see if she had a sister named Filomena. Do you know when your grandmother was born? Also, my grandmother on my mom's side was a Laino but her folks came from just over the border from Basilicata in northern Calabria.
