Could the name be Branda? we have some relatives who moved to Montevideo, Uruguay in the early 1900's Guiseppe was my great great grandfather, but he was in Altoona PA, he had 2 or 2 brothers that moved to Montevideo and their families are still there, Francesco and Vicenzo. Have to check on a third one, this family of Branda's were from Buccino, Salerno, Italia. There were more Branda's from all over the country of Italy, a common name. There were other close towns that also had Branda's some settled in Hoboken and Newark NJ.
