Pricolo family from Saponara (Grumento Nova)

My great grandfather was Michele Pricolo DOB: July 3, 1877 possibly from Grumento Nova (died Stockton Calif 7-1-1929) but the last place of residence was Saponara as stated on the ships manifest. He left Naples Italy on September 7, 1900 on the Kaiser Wilhelm ship and arrived at the Port of New York on September 20, 1900. Joined his brother in Los Banos CA before moving to Stockton CA. DOD: July 1, 1929 in Stockton California.

His wife was Luvisa (Luigia/Louise) Pricolo - I do not know her maiden name - DOB: December 24, 1877 possibly Grumento Nova, last residence Saponara. She left Naples on June 8 1905 on the Sardegna ship with young sons Giovanni and Antonio with her. She arrived at the Port of New York on June 23, 1905. When she arrived the note takers spelled her name Luigia Pricola. Some of our family kept that spelling, but my grandparents kept the original Pricolo. Also numbers located next to her name on the manifest are 22X25756505 4/29/42 and on her son Antonio 22X23094505 9/4/41 - DOD: January 12, 1966 San Joaquin. On the ship's manifest it said she was joining her husband Mishele in Los Banos. So I am sure it is her.

They moved to Stockton CA shortly after. Their children were Giovanni (John), Antonio (Tony), Mary, and Twins Teresa and Angie and Carmin (my grandfather). My grandparents owned a grocery store in the early 1900s to about 1920s in Stockton located at 414 S. Union St.

Also it said on my grandfather's obituary the he was a member of the U.P.E.C. Organization (not sure what this is, but the people they named as his pall bearers were all Italians and belonged to this group, if anyone knows please let me know).

Their place of residence on the 1910/20/30 census was 1201 East Oak in Stockton, California. On the 1910 census it states that they had four boarders living in their home at the time, address was 1104 E Sonora, Stockton CA. The writing is hard to read, hopefully these names I spelled right: Augo Alamino, Peter and Ben Conscrici, and James Ferieri.

If any one knows of any info on my great grandparents. Please write me, I am desperately wanting to know my great grandmother's maiden name, who their parents were and where exactly my great grandparents were born and if they still have family in Italy. Anything else would be much appreciated.
Thank you, Pamela M Pricolo-Tamez Does anyone know Luvisa' maiden name and where exactly Mishele and her were born at
in Italy. Also what was the name of their grocery store in Stockton? They would have owned it about 1908 to 1930. Son took over after Mishele died.

Thanks! Pamela M Pricolo-Tamez
