Marie

My grandmother was Filomena Napolitano (nee Cervini), the eldest daughter of Antonio and Luisa.Filomena had married and left home by 1911 but she was 15 in 1901 and as you would expect the 1901 census records her as living in the family home.

I'm afraid that I can't add any hard facts to what you already know about the family history.(In fact I hadn't known that Antonio and Luisa had married in the UK.) One of the Napolitano family legends was that they made the overland journey from Italy to England on foot. Another was that Luisa's father was a doctor. Who knows?

Which of Antonio and Luisa's children are you descended from?
Are you aware of the later emails about Antonio and Luisa on the Gente di Mare site?
