Eugenio was my grandfather. He married Elisabetta Baloc (Balough)
and had 7 children, Carl, Arthur, Emma, Elsie, Eugene jr, Agnus
and Wilfred. All are gone now. Carl married Julia and have
Eugene, Sally and Patty from that union. Arthur married Vee and
have Barbara Jean, Emma married Wilford Otis, no children. Elsie
married a man no one in the family ever met. They were married
for his green card and disappeared, no children. Eugene jr.
married Julia, no children. Agnus was married and Divorced, had
Dennis and Agnus jr. and then married Tom Ackley, no other
children. Wilfred married Jeanne who was married before and had 2
children and together They had me. I won't get into everyone who
had who unless you ask.
I did find that other then there were/are a lot of Gobbo's in
Italy Eugenio and Antonio had either brothers, cousins or other
family that came. in 1905 Giuseppe (16) came over, Arcangelo (27)
came in 1913, he was married but I didn't see a wife's name. And
in 1914 Lorenzo (29) also married no wife's name. They are all
from Ferentino, Italy.
Eugenio, lived on Summit Ave in Jersey City, NJ and worked for
the Pennsylvania Rail Road he was drafted into WWI, when he came
out he and his family moved to 7th St in Union City, NJ and was
drafted into WW II.
