Looking for Giovanni Ciancaglione born 1888 in Castellalto

Hi-I'm hoping to be able to connect some branches on my family tree. This is the earliest record I can find for my great grandfather, Giovanni "John" Ciangaglione:

WWI DRAFT REGISTRATION
Giovanni Ciangaglione
Age 29 292 N. Clinton St., Trenton, NJ, Born March 24, 1888 - Teramo, Italy
Declared intention to become citizen, has wife, 3 children, father, mother to support.

I have searched this name in multiple databases and cannot find a Giovanni Ciangaglione or Ciancaglione who immigrated to the U.S. from Teramo or any other part of Italy. However, I have found some Giovanni Ciancagliones who were born much earlier (1815-1830) in Teramo. I'd be grateful for any information or advice anyone can give.

From records made available online at familysearch.org:
  • By Teramo most probably he meant the province of Teramo. A birth record with that exact date is in the Comune of Castellalto, 1888, no. 21, birth of Ciancaglione Giovanni Annunzio, 24 March 1888. Father Domenico, 30, mother Splendora Rastelli.
